Returns & Refund Policy — TAKME HOME
1. Returns Window
Customers are entitled to a 5-day cooling-off period in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. TAKME HOME extends this to a 7–14 day return period for added convenience.
2. Eligibility of Returns
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. Damaged or defective items may be returned within 6 months of delivery, in line with CPA. This applies only to defects present at delivery or manufacturing faults. Claims for damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental dropping, or improper care are not covered under this provision. Non-defective returns (items returned simply because the customer changed their mind) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, both original and return.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Items that have been used, washed, assembled, or altered in any way cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective. Clearance and final-sale items are also non-returnable. If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, please contact us before initiating a return.
4. Exchanges & Replacements
We are happy to exchange items that are defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrectly sent. To request an exchange, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or store credit once the return is received and inspected. We do not offer size or color exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. If you would like a different item, please return the original (if eligible) and place a new order.
5. Reporting Issues
Customers are encouraged to report damaged or incorrect items as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, to ensure prompt resolution. Valid claims for defective items will always be honored within the 6-month period, in line with CPA, regardless of when the customer reports the defect.
6. How to Initiate a Return
Returning an item is simple. Contact us with your order number and reason for return. Our team will confirm eligibility within 2 business days. Once approved, package your item securely in its original packaging where possible and ship it to the address provided. Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 14 business days of receiving and inspecting the return. Please do not send items back without prior approval — unapproved returns cannot be processed.
7. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after return approval. TAKME HOME may deduct a restocking fee for non-defective returns if disclosed upfront. Refunds exclude shipping costs for non-defective returns.
