Returns & Refund Policy – TAKME HOME
1. Returns Window
Customers are entitled to a 5-day cooling-off period in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act .
TAKME HOME extends this to a 7–14 day return period for added convenience.
2. Eligibility of Returns
Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
Damaged or defective items may be returned within 6 months of delivery, in line with CPA. This applies only to defects present at delivery or manufacturing faults. Claims for damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental dropping, or improper care are not covered under this provision.
Non-defective returns (items returned simply because the customer changed their mind) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs, both original and return.
3. Reporting Issues
Customers are encouraged to report damaged or incorrect items as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours, to ensure prompt resolution.
Valid claims for defective items will always be honoured within the 6-month period, in line with CPA, regardless of when the customer reports the defect.
4. Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after return approval.
TAKME HOME may deduct a restocking fee for non-defective returns if disclosed upfront.
Refunds exclude shipping costs for non-defective returns.
